Community

We happily support the community: For 2 years now we have hosted the annual Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock overnight in our lakeside Inn. Here are some photos from the 2006 visit. We will again be hosting the 2008 Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock in September. We are a proud Bronze Supporter of this important event.

We have supported the Nanaimo Area Land Trust (NALT)  for the Mount Benson fund. http://www.mountbenson.ca/.

We donate yearly to the Errington Therapeutic Riding Centre as well.

On a recent renovation, we donated a large amount of furniture and various other items to the Haven Society in Nanaimo, http://www.havensociety.com/.

We have contributed to Canadian Cancer fund raisers www.cancer.ca.

We have also made yearly donations to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation www.heartandstroke.bc.ca.

We of course support the Nanaimo Clippers. http://www.nanaimoclippers.com/.

We have, for almost 20 years had the Mid-Vancouver Island Marine Modelers use one of our docks every Wednesday and Sunday for their sailing and power boating group - April of 2008 will be the 2nd annual regatta.
